speaking from experience running tube aggregators with 100k+ uniques per day:

1) yes, they can get search engine traffic. it's easy to check for a particular site, just look at similarweb.

honestly it's all about your backlink profile, bounce rate, and site speed. you get text spinning mostly for free because your site isn't going to show exactly the same videos in the same orders as other sites.

3) you probably won't ever make $100 unless you pay for backlinks, or have a really solid social media and networking plan that doesn't involve search traffic, or are an SEO expert and can DIY with link pyramids and PBN and shit. if your plan is just to post a few forum links and blog comments and reddit threads then you probably shouldn't bother; i tried all that as a noob and got nowhere.

even if you buy backlinks its still impossible to say how long before you're making money, or if you ever will. if your site sucks and can't drive clicks then there's nothing in the world that's going to make it profitable. personally, it took me months to make my first 100. but within a few months of making my first 100, i was making 100 a day. i spend a lot of money on backlinks of the blackhatworld variety.
