I heard on the radio last week the christian church donations for all denominations are down this year by a good 25%, with the Catholic church (surprise surprise) being hit the hardest.
This may be a little off topic, but how does a parent NOT notice when their kid comes home after being molested the first time? I've read that molested kids act quite differently than normal kids, and become quite introverted and untalkative. But I guess the parents could see it as the kids learning good manners at church?
If that happened in some smaller church, it would be so banned from everywhere and pretty much shut down. I guess now we get to see how much political power the Catholic church still holds.
