I always found Reagan's speeches an insult to my intelligence. However, Reagan wasn't an overt bigot or a racist like Trump is. I find Trump's positions either idiotic or repulsive. Trump is just communicating with his supporters however mirroring their views. I don't doubt Trump's cunning intelligence -- but he is appealing to the *dark side*
