what if American that pays 20 % of tax will go to France to get medical treatment that will be x times cheaper than in US ?
I'm sorry but I don't see any connection in taxes for public healthcare and cost of private clinics/ hospitals....
if the taxes in US are lower, the clinics/ private hospitals, should be cheaper too.......by your "logic"
also, lets take sample Frenchie that doesnt give a fuck about any insurance at all. he will just show up in any private hospital/ clinic in his country and he will still pay few times less than he would be in US (also in private hospital/ clinic/ whatever), for, lets say ...MRI....
