It wasn't a secret meeting it was a lunch they had and asked some other members to be speakers, the speakers were businessmen and they talked about their companies and how they began etc..
He didn't say ''hey you join now?'' he asked if I was interested in joining and handed me the envelope. Seriously I donno why you defending this so hard, do you want to pretend its exclusive? Because where I live it really isn't in fact it was pretty sad state of affairs from what I saw.

In most places it's a dying old man's club. No doubt about that. I'm not pretending anything. You said you went to one of their meetings. Now you've changed that to you going to lunch after initially contacting them through email. Neither of those things are how you represented the situation in your previous post.
