Not at all.
What I see in America is the opportunity for anyone to do well for themselves. I see it every day of my life. It's call the American dream, and people are living it. The godfather of my only child is black. He grew up in ghetto, keep his nose in his books, got a full scholarship to a good college, and went on to become architect.
I see this as a political candidate praising someone who is a minority and became part of the city council, and trying to inspire someone else to do the same.
