That said, Bale is a big name after the Batman movies whereas she is likely lesser known even though she has a lot of accomplishments and his part in that movie was bigger so I don't see why he wouldn't get more money. If the roles were reversed and she was just coming off a movie that was a box office smash and she had the bigger part I could see her having a bigger point.

Oscar nominations do not equal high pay. Look at all of the Grammy WINNERS that are dirt broke.
They are awards that have no cash value. In her case, it wasn't even an award, it was a nomination.
