Excuses, whether legitimate or not, never matter at the end of the day. They do not change things. You can cry all day that daddy beat you, that mommy never loved you, that society looks at you funny because you limp on your left side, that you were denied that great job because you were pregnant... but when all is said and done, you are still sitting there crying and have accomplished nothing.
Accept this fact: sometimes life sucks. Life is not "fair." Play the game or spend your life crying about what you should have been while the winners are calling the shots because they learned early on that life is a bitch and were willing to fight.
