Didn't people say the thing about Obama? I loved the "He is going to take our guns away" routine we went through - twice. Yet here we are, still a super power, still have one of the world's most powerful armed forces, still one of the most strongest economies in the world. We got the shit kicked out of us in the recession, stood up, dusted ourselves off, and moved on.

I hate Donald Trump with a passion - I hate everything he stands for. But I do not believe if Trump becomes President the United States is "doomed". Oh, it will be an embarrassment, and it will hurt us both in the short term and long run, but I wouldn't say the United States would be "doomed" and I wouldn't be concerned about our country collapsing.
