So long as America keeps borrowing money and sinking into deeper debt. It will be fine.

Trump's benefit is he can say the dumbest of things and get away with it. Because his audience isn't good at thinking beyond soundbites.

His stance of defence will start an Arms Race. That no one wins.
He can't force Mexico to pay for the wall or stop illegal migration that way.
He can save as much as $300 billion a year from negotiating with drug companies.
Trump would "bomb the hell" out of IS.
Create a simpler tax code.
A mass deportation of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants
He and Vladimir Putin would "get along very well".
Current unemployment statistics are wrong.
Climate change is just "weather".
Muslims should not be admitted to the US.

He will hit a brick wall when he tries to bluster his way through and forcing these policies down people's throats.

Putin will not sit back and allow the US to speed ahead in an Arms race. Nor allow him to bombs indiscriminately in the ME. Stopping illegal migrants is easy, make sure they're less well off in the country than they would be at home. No benefits, home, job, school, healthcare, arrest and put into camps or return. Costs less than a wall and deportation and far more effective. Also cuts taxes. Drug companies can refuse to sell at a price they don't accept. The only solution is public ownership of the health service. And so it goes on.

As I said if he gets in he will be either the worse or most disappointing President ever.

But his supporters can't think further than a soundbite. Donald Trump: 22 things the Republican believes - BBC News
