Japanese US citizens and resident aliens where forced to sell their property then rounded up and deported to detention camps after Imperial Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. That is one of the most shameful things that the USA has ever done.
German-Americans were not interned -- this was racism at its finest.
So don't say it could not happen here -- it has already happened in the past.
