As much as I usually enjoy Meta's antics and am glad for his GFY presence, this time it's a wrong target, and this thread is absolutely unnecessary.
One thing I can assure you is that the "target" is as level headed as it goes, and to start a thread, go berserk and attempt to instigate a lynch mob with a several remarks taken out of context, just because somebody got a bit emotional defending their stance (which was later explained and articulated in detail btw.) is just stupid. There's much better targets out there on GFY (talking about truly annoying).
Btw. it's not true that one couldn't have an interesting discussion on GFY. Sure there may be several pathological "debaters" that are delusional enough to believe they can out-smart (ass) others at any given opportunity (even they in fact can't and end up doing a great job at ridiculing themselves), but otherwise there's many whose POV, no matter how different it may be from mine, is interesting and appreciated.
