Dutch people know from experience, because here in Holland we had the exact same situation with a guy who was popular here.
Hated by politicians and media, loved by the people.
Media and especially politicans went full retard into demonizing him.

The people saw the turth. He was exactly like Trump: Anti establishment and spoke his mind. Not political correct. Media could try all the tricks they wanted but the people were awake.
He was very very close in becoming prime minister. All the attacks of the other politicians and media didn't help at all.
What happened then? He was assassinated 9 days before the elections.

How the media covers Trump in the US is the first stage. Let's hope it doesn't get to the stage that prevented Fortuyn from becoming democratically elected.
If the powers that be see an outsider coming too close to their sick world, anything is possible to prevent that.

When politicians change the culture of a country, they have to ask the people of the country if they want this. Spelling out the eventual consequences. To call someone a fascist for saying that. Is how brainwashed we have become.
Eventually mass migration will destroy a lot of what the Dutch have built in Holland, Germany, UK, France, Denmark, Sweden, etc. The lie that they will integrate is exposed by walking through an area dominated by gypsies. Who came to Eastern Europe 600 years ago.
Trump needs to tone down his rhetoric and calm the rednecks in the audience.
