I support Trump on this and think the EU should join with him and tackle more than China. The entire Third World needs to understand if they want to sell goods to us, they have to buy as much as they sell and stick to the rules.

The problem will be getting voters to stick with the plans and forcing the politicians and 1% to implement the policies.

OK a pair of Jeans will cost from $150 up, a mobile phone $800 and up, cars, washing machines and even houses will all cost more to build. The good side is jobs will come back, GDP, taxes, incomes will rise (unless you're a politician or 1%).

Will voters vote for a policy that means they're forced to buy less? Apart from the poor, low paid and unemployed.
Billions of people were pulled out of poverty by world trade. A few hundred million have to pay a little of attention to achieve what their fathers did. Wages have not gone up in 20 years or whatever. You really do need a college degree to get somewhere.

I understand that some of your grandkids might not have a 2 48 inch TV but is it a decent trade off that some people have electricity or decent water?
