Also missed in that conversation was that the "man" involved in the pregnancy was not to be held accountable. The take away being since the law was being broken with her body that it was her fault. Not sure how you could listen to this guys positions on women and than look at your daughter, wife, mother, sister, g-friend. But hey! He says these shitty things simply and loudly.
At that moment, he just thought "what can I say that will appeal to my base". That's a politician. In this instance Trump showed he's a master and failure at the same time, which is seemingly impossible. He actually incensed people on both sides of the issue.

Pro choice people think it's terrible he would want a woman to be punished for getting an abortion.

Pro life people are like "hey Donald, not so loud...we don't like to talk about that, even though that's how we feel too."

But in the end, he doesn't even really want women to be punished...he's just farting from his brain constantly and making this shit up as he goes, because we all know he's really a New York pro-choice liberal. Donald Trump is just playing the game he needs to play to get the presidential feather in his cap. Ted Cruz is an asshole too, but at least he is a real person who actually believes the shit he says. And if he got into the WHite House it would be even more disastrous than Trump, because his ideology is batshit crazy and we've already seen his destructive behavior in the Senate.

Trump is only a charlatan who is starting to show signs of being in over his head. Just wait until he gets into a debate with Hillary Clinton. We'll all really see this guy knows nothing about nothing.

The only good choice they have is John Kasich, and after watching several town halls of that guy I think I'd vote for him even as a liberal. He's the only guy on either side who seems to have it together. I'd vote for him just because I like him, and isn't that what it always comes down to anyway?
