There's an uncle on my wife's side who is the basic hard drinking, white trash asshole stereotype. Guess which way his politics lean. One time at a family gathering a couple of people had to tell him to shut the fuck up about "that coon in the WHite House" -- as he puts it. He just talks like this forgetting the rest of the world has moved to a different place. Hate to say it but the world will be a better place when people like this die. Actually I don't hate to say it. They can't die quick enough. Please old assholes die soon.

They rail against "progressives" not realizing the word progress is in there somewhere. Progress is mostly known as a positive word. So if they hate progress, then what do they stand for? Nothing really. They stand against things. Just look at Ted Cruz as the perfect example.
