There's a leak going around the internet (apparently filmed by someone on the production crew) showing Negan hitting the person on Glenn's left. It clearly shows Glenn's head not getting hit.

In this first photo, Daryl is slouching next to Glenn - you can't really even see him. If you watch the scene, after the first hit from Lucille, the first person view appears to go from a slouched position to sitting up. That's when Negan says, "He's taking it like a champ".



In this leaked shot, you can see Negan hitting the guy next to Glenn, and Glenn's head doesn't move. This all points to Daryl being the one who meets Lucille.
