The builtin NATS feeds are not that good, actually. I would suggest you to make a standard RSS/Atom feed with gallery titles and links to the. Something like this:
Digital Desire Fully Hosted Galleries - the preview thumbnails are not important too. Leave only titles and links to the actual FHG's. That's all the modern scripts need to parse them, download the actual images to the local hos and crop the thumbs.
Just make such a feed and I'll show you how good it can be used on self-populated TGP sites like this one:
Playboy Centerfolds and Gorgeous Babes - no manual imput needed, the smart scripts will take care of everything. Just give them the feed
