We technically aren't even fighting any where. Yeah, we have troops in Afghanistan but they are mostly defensive, Iraq seems to be quiet, and we are bombing ISIS on a daily basis, but that's you couldn't call any of this a "war".

you're a fool. Nowadays drones and satellites is why the number of soldiers in ground war is low compared to the 2nd world war. The scope of this "non-war" is fucking huge and it is constantly ongoing since the invasion in iraq in 2003. Its now 2016 - 13 years later - and the islam extremists from the destructed middle east have never been more active in the western world as right now. But you don't think this is a war.
Tell that to the families of the killed soldiers AND civilians over these 13 years. Don't think they will agree with you. I don't think anyone with half a brain will agree with you.
