I disagree. It's not like we have hundreds of drones in Iraq; If at all we might have a dozen. Planes and boots the ground still do the heavy lifting.
I don't believe this is a "constantly ongoing war". The United States lost six lives in Iraq in 2015. Out of those six, four of them were listed at "non hostile" - That means they had a car accident or a heart attack.

Please trust me when I tell you I am disappointed any time the United States sends it's military into action. I understand more than most the losses suffered by military families. My father died in Vietnam when I was nine months old.
