Phoenix, AZ - Angela Simpson, a 33-year-old Arizona woman was charged with murder after she confessed to torturing a disabled man to death for three days. Promised a full confession in exchange for a candy bar.
According to Phoenix Police, Simpson promised sex to lure a wheelchair-bound man into her apartment before torturing him, stabbing him, dismembering him, and then setting him on fire.
Once inside, the man endured days of torture that ended in his horrific murder.
Police say the torture began with Simpson beating the man with a tire iron and hammer. She then pulled out his teeth and then strangled him with a television cable.
An autopsy revealed the victim sustained multiple blunt force trauma injuries before a 3-inch nail was driven into his skull. Just to make sure he was really dead, Simpson stabbed the man 50 times before dismembering him.
Detectives believe Simpson murdered the man believing he was a snitch. Firefighters found the victim's wheelchair a short distance from the scene.
Simpson told investigators she'd provide a full confession of the murder in exchange for a candy bar.
