correlation does not equal causation
for real, fail to see how a downturn in a corp's profits would relate to one suicide, in a world where (sad but true) peeps off themselves every day. it touches a lot of lives.
in north america at least the media tends not to report suicide unless it's high profile (due to the documented, very real risk of prompting others to do the same due to media coverage) so unless it hits your family/circle of loved ones it's pretty easy to forget how many peeps chose that route.
what I'm curious about is choice of location. not in terms of any inherent suspicion due to that, just find it interesting (assuming this guy did kill himself) that he would choose his workplace to do it. suicide method/location is in and of itself is a suicide note, genuinely curious as to why he chose where and when he did
not negating the tragedy or impact upon his loved ones, just can't help but be curious
from preliminary media reports thus far, this guy chose to go out with a bang (pardon the pun) at work at one of the most well-known companies in existence. if he worked at a mom and pop store in bumfuck nowhere it would have never hit the news unless an investigation raised evidence of foul play
I have no idea what happened in that conference room, just don't see him working for apple as an indication of malfeasance, independent of evidence of such.
feel awful for his loved ones.
