They are now in the "denial" stage.
Just a couple of stages behind the Republicans when it comes to the reality of the movement that Trump represents.
Remember up until now the Democrats have been doing what the Republicans did at first: joked about it.
Now they have moved into the first stage: Denial
Up next: Anger
Then they will run through the same stages as the Republicans: Bargaining, Depression, and finally Acceptance.
And by then...just like with the Republicans, it will be too late for them.
