You presume everyone is married.
Also you presume the husband has influence on his wife. I know many men who will not go to the loo unless there wives allow them to.
One thing too, Clinton will have the money to run her campaign. I think Trump is using his own money (a vastly smaller amount of cash).
I also suspect Clinton will have more people out supporting her too.
I also wonder if you were not native to the USA (say in the last ten years) if you would support Trump. I suspect many who are say from Mexico, or indeed non Christian would support Clinton. I suspect too Clinton may get the Gay vote too.
The ONLY vote I can see Trump getting is the angry working class vote who believes that Trump can do somthing to get USA products selling better. And I think in truth Trump will do the opposite.
The truth is, people will from outside the USA welcome Clinton. And in tern countries will do trades with the USA and in tern, the USA will prosper.
If Trump will I suspect he will not be popular. In the UK he is already unpopular. Just think of the harm Trump could do. Ford sells many cars in the UK. I do not think you realise what harm could to for USA trade and business.
