No one lied about anything.
Clinton told us what the government thought at the time, and withheld information until we had more facts. And what she told us is still true - there was a video, a warning was issued, and there was a protest. Everything Clinton said was in fact true. However, as more information came in, they withheld information while everything was figured out AND it was decided what information to release to the public.
Again, not sure why this is an issue. For some reason we are putting in more time, effort, and money into investigating a small terrorist attack on an embassy in a foreign country than we did investing 9/11 which resulted in billions of dollars in damage and thousands of Americans dead.
