It's a content aggregator/curator like
https://www.google.com/reader which was discontinued, but on your own site and working by your own rules. Actually almost all the most popular content on the Net is "duplicate". Look at the major tubes: the same videos everywhere. Or look at Google.com itself - no unique content at all: everything is taken from 3rd-party sites (
Google news,
Google videos,
Google images etc). The CyberSyn plugin does absolutely the same thing as Google and many others.
