Like those "rent to own" places, laundromats make money from financially depressed people who live in an apartment that is not big enough to fit a washer and dryer, or from people who can't afford to buy them. The cost to wash your clothes at a Laundromat is much higher than the cost of doing it with your own machine. Especially when you have to buy the soap in those little packets at the laundromats too.

With good upsells like everyone is talking about I agree with you - they're probably great. When it come to setting up a location, paying rent or a lease, buying thousands and thousands of dollars worth of machines, paying a water bill, buying electricity, providing wifi for the little bastads, and on and on and on for a few coins here and there FUCK THAT
With juicy profit adders / enhancers / whatever you fancy motherfuckers call it, I'm sure it's worth it
