canyflip, i apologize for the harsh words i've used describing you. it's true you got under my skin when you began attacking me and i should have handled it better.
i'm extending an olive branch to you in hopes that you will knock it off with me so i can knock it off with you.
yes, i'm here to argue and debate. that's what makes this board tick, btw. being agreeable and starting business threads doesn't work here. i like to provoke discussion and i prefer to point counter-point on an adult level and i've shown more than an ability to do that, i've shown the desire to do it and continue to do it.
i've also gotten upset that you've chosen to characterize all of my posts in the way you do. in order for you to do that, you've had to wax over gobs and gobs and gobs of my silly posts, science posts, music posts, shooting the shit posts, ad nauseaum. yes, i post here, i don't keep count. so i apologize for getting upset that i've been mischaracterized by you.
anyway, this is a sincere attempt for a truce and for both of us to knock it off starting right fucking now.
