I don't believe Obama lied. The way the law was written and when it was put in place, illegal immigrants were not included. The state of California is doing this, not Obama. I believe it will pass too.
I think this is a bad idea, and California has become too friendly to illegal immigrants. Only citizens should have a driver's license; If a foreigner wants to legally drive in the US they should have an international DL. However, I understand why. Because illegal immigrants could not get a driver's license, they just drove illegally - which included no insurance. This causes our insurance rates to increase. It's the same with healthcare - illegal immigrants are not covered under Obamacare, but the hospitals still have to see them, which increases the costs, which are passed to everyone else.
The entire point of Obamacare was to lower healthcare costs. Seems like healthcare costs are about to rise. We need to figure out a way to prevent costs from increasing any further.
