The shooter was born in the United States; He is an American citizen. If we had put a ban in place on Afghans twenty years ago, it wouldn't have made a difference because the shooter still would have been born in the United States.
Trump has no idea what he is doing or saying. But this is what the Republican base seems to enjoy hearing.
