I dunno if I buy it man.. I don't want to get all wehateporn (Ie conspiracy nut ) but this sounds soon much like a very typical CIA style char assassination.

This is right out of the book so very typical. IE this was a very successful attack if you look at it from a lone wolf wanna be terrorist perspective. Meaning the FBI/CIA want to make the guy look bad to other wannabe tangos that might be inspired by his actions..
