That is questionable in my mind -- I am leaning toward the opinion that he was a nut-job that found a cause his ethnic identity could justify in his diminished mental capacity. Meaning: he was just crazed and distressed in his life.

I would prefer that be the case than he really was expressing an "evil" ideology.
