I really don't think there has been an honest debate in US politics for a long time.
When we get to the point of having a reality show huckster running for POTUS we have hit rock-bottom. I would expect a rock-bottom reply.
I am considering changing my voter registration to the Green Party because the Democrat and Republican Parties have become total TV clowns without any real substance. At least I could say in good faith -- your political policy problems are not of my making -- the new Libertarians could say the same.
The only way to effect change is to abandon these dead end pols en masse.
