After the Civil Right Act of 1964 the schism began.
I was 9 years old I watched it develop.
It and Medicare were the only things LBJ got right. If it were not for his administration's Vietnam policy decisions he would have been a great American President IMHO. But he fucked up bad with Vietnam in a typical way that failed in the cold war over and over again. Had LBJ walked away; 1 million lives would not have been lost on all sides and the outcome might have been the same in the long run anyway.
Had Goldwater in 1964 been elected we might still be at war with the Soviets in some long term struggle, IDK, hard to say.
Had George Wallace been elected there might be total apartheid in the USA.
If, If, If Donald Trump is elected AMERICA WILL BE GREAT

We will "run out of bricks for walls". Hillary is a lukewarm progressive don't expect any dramatic change in US policy from Mrs. Clinton. That is why the Anybody But Trump Republicans may end up supporting her -- if that is 5% of the electorate in November -- Hello President Clinton II.
The Adams and Roosevelt Dynasties we successful -- the Bush Dynasty was a miserable failure. The outcome of a Clinton Dynasty is questionable.
