Once again.... We had a trained police officer who was armed and went after the gun man and fired shots at him and still fifty people died and fifty people wounded. A good guy with a gun does not always win.
This is insane. Right now, in my house, I have the same exact weapon that the United States Marine Corps trains with. And please don't tell me that the weapon I have is different from what the Marines use; One of the first things they teach you at Paris Island is to fire one shot at a time. It's the same exact weapon with the same exact purpose - and we hand them out to anyone who fills out a form.
It's too late. We can't put the tiger back in the cage. There are millions of these assault rifles out there.
