actually I was watching a documentary on the sugar lobby in the USA they made comparisons with the tobacco lobby and how they fought the 1966 law on "warnings" that were merely: "smoking is addictive" and it did not stand out at all but was small type and actually made people think it had a "cool factor" according to Assistant Director of Research at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company:
"psychologically, at eighteen, one is immortal" and theorized that "the desire to be daring is part of the motivation to start smoking." He stated, "in this sense the label on the package is a plus."
