We need to keep in mind that the election is just getting started, and we will see changes in numbers all the way until November. Trump got a boost in the numbers because he became the presumptive nominee, where as Hillary did not have that boost because Sanders did not really drop out.
I predict Hillary will retain a sizable lead for the duration right up until the election. It won't always be double digits, but she will remain in the lead. The only variable will be the FBI investigation into her emails, which will cause a drop in the polls. No matter she will recover quickly; You know Clinton has a team of attorneys working up plans and options for anything that might happen. I think in the end Hillary will still win with a decent lead.
Trump just slays me. It's plainly obvious that Trump has a handful of unqualified people helping him with picking a direction. It's clear they aren't thinking things true. The other day Trump gave a speech and claimed Clinton accepted a $58k gift from the King of Brunei. It was obvious that no one fact checked this, and it was obvious this gift was not for Clinton and was accepted by her on behalf of the United States government - just like all gifts are. This kind of crap might play well with the hardcore Republican base but to the rest of us it just makes Trump look stupid.
Here on GFY I asked you all to come up with a list of bad things Hillary has done. One person even made a post about it. Yet no one came up with a short list of bad things Hillary has done while she was at the State Department or in the Senate. The reality of this is Hillary hasn't done anything bad at the State Department or when she as a Senator. She has no huge gaffs other than her email at the State Department (which it seems was common at the State Department). The Republicans are trying to paint her as "dishonest" and "crooked" but the reality of it is Hillary has never been charged with a crime. When compared to Trump who has been dragged into court over three thousand times, well, it looks dumb. I think the Republicans are handling this wrong. They should be asking Americans "What has Hillary accomplished?". If you look back at her time as a Senator and then at the State Department, she hasn't had any major accomplishments.
For me it' s "I don't know, not Trump though".
