I Upgraded my website. Now it makes no money. Any tips?

I have a bit of a problem and I was hoping some of you could help me out with it. About 5 or so months ago I decided I would upgrade my website to be fully mobile responsive etc and switch from using FHG's to using a video player. Surprisingly.. this was the worst thing I've ever done.
Before upgrading google would tell me that my website was not mobile responsive so I did a total remake. I get lots of mobile traffic and I figured people would appreciate it more if my website actually worked for them when they were on it. I also switched from using FHG's to using a video player with hosted video files. I did this so that everyone could access the videos instead of just PC users (FHG's wouldn't work for mobile / tablet). Since doing this my website has gone from making 7 or 8 membership sales per month to 0 sales per 5 months.
I did make some mistakes and had some issues which caused a traffic problem, but I still do get traffic and for some reason I am seeing no sales at all ever.
The big difference I think is that with the FHG's as soon as someone loaded a page they would be linked to my affiliate code so if they joined or left and came back a few days later and joined directly from the site I was promoting I would still get credit for it. With a video player there is no way to link the viewer to my affiliate code, they would have to click on a banner. The thing is they never click on the banners. If they want to join a website it's like they watch the video and then type in the website url and go directly to it and join and I get no credit whatsoever. I even load the banners in a way where they get past ad-block but nobody seems to click banners anymore.
When using FHG's I would usually see 200 - 300 uniques a day in the stats screen on programs I am affiliated with. Since switching to a video player I usually get between 5 and 10 uniques a day now. I use twitter and check the analytics and if they show 200 or so people have clicked the link and gone to a video on my site, the stats screen for that video's program only shows like 3 or so uniques. Almost nobody is clicking the banners.
Does anyone know a way I could fix this? I was thinking if there was some way of forcing the affiliate link through it might work, like if below the video and banners I have an iframe that loads an FHG pic gallery or just load the entire join page in an Iframe it will automatically link them to my affiliate code. I'm just worried it would slow everything down a lot more.
Anyone have any idea or tips? I never thought that upgrading my website to work for everyone and all devices, and having it be responsive instead of not responsive would result in losing all income. I even gave it a few months just to be sure.. well, now I'm sure.
