The US has two Right Wing Parties. One is more Right Wing than the other. And then there are the Tea Party nutjobs.
They reflect the mood of the people and do the wishes of their financial backers. Obama and then Sanders was your chance of breaking the grip of the big financiers. Neither can do it alone and as long as one of the two houses are controlled by politicians whose first concern is raising money to fund their next campaign. You will be controlled.
