1.) if the name is really a POS you could dump it at a reduced loss.
2.) you could resell the domain but the premium renewal fees (the $600/yr) left would transfer (encumber the name) to the new buyer.
3.) you probably would buy it with the intent of immediate development -- it would be rather expensive to be sitting as a speculative investment or for resale.
yes, but 55k renewal is mad. it means site/biz needs to make 100k+/year in profit at least. from the very start.
