Republicans in Congress are also quietly tying to sell off many of our national forests in a lame attempt to claim state rights.
They are trying to take much of the national wildlife and Forrest areas out of federal control, then force it onto the states hands who can't afford to up keep them.
At this point states would have to sell off the land.
