Maybe you didn't learn how to use it? (Not picking on you, just saying). I have my photos, music and media on multiple devices including my iphone. This includes music movies bought from itunes and other sources.
Personally I like iPhone. My phone though is the iPhone 5 and its getting kind of old. I was going to upgrade to the 6 but will wait until the 7 comes out. When it does, I'll be checking out a Samsung phone too because lets face it, Samsung makes amazing products, phones included.
The phone by itself though, is not the only reason to choose however. I want something that I can depend on, that works with all my other stuff (Mac, Car, TV, 3rd party phone software, etc), and that I know is as safe from malware as possible, and that I can get good service from, etc etc.
Right now, Iphone + iOS makes it so freakin' effortless to do everything I want, so it has kept me away from looking at alternatives. I will, though.
peace.
