The system does protect bad cops and if you're good friends with any cops they'll tell you this. I personally know two cops, one for years longer than the other. Its not the main topic of conversation but it's come up briefly in the past. Not a shocking revalation, and it's public knowledge.

Yeah, black lives matter.
