Which is why it's impossible for a marketing man to give a "One fits all" answer to every situation.

On an open board it's hard to teach people how to market their product. All that can be offered are general rules like the customer comes first, find what he really needs, find what he can't get, etc.

When I was selling I spent hours talking to a client about his business. I couldn't sell anything until I knew what he needed. Online it's harder so one has to approach it differently. What we know is he doesn't need to pay to jerk off.

A marketing professional will want to know what are the resources a client has that can be used to attract more sales? Then marketing becomes targeted, direct and effective.
