Wait a minute!

I just read at CNN a story about a detective in Germany who was on the case of the 'Cat Beaten Woman'.

According to a French paper that had covered the story, well actually an unrelated event in the same police precinct, the couple had been fighting for some time.

It appears that they were part of some political group and had been at a protest or something.

It was one of those protests that was on the news last week in Germany I think somebody here posted about. Something about Iraq war/taxes.

So according to the CNN brief the woman was a spokesperson for one of these groups and the man wasn't her husband nor boyfriend but a neighbor who worked at some lab or something that was accused of supplying sympathy to Iraq. The fight was about Germany's association with the Saudis and Iraqis and the operation of the U.S. and Iraq.

The French reporter who got all this info was actually interviewing a neighbor when the fight broke out because there was a brief fire associated and no one knew of the cat story UNTIL it was reported from a hospital that reports all domestic violence cases.

So apparently what happened was by sheer accident they got the cat story from the hospital NOT the police. The French reporter got more information from a neighbor named 'Sparks the Talking Dog' who it appears had it in for the cat who was his stage partner for years named 'Wiffy the Chatting Cat'. They apparently had a falling out about the Iraq war and heard the couple arguing and Wiffy barged in and added his two goddamned cents in and it wasn't that the guy beat the woman with Wiffy, no, it was the opposite, the guy beat Wiffy with the woman. That's why he wasn't charged with beating a woman cause it was the other way around.

Wiffy the Cat's agent who's from Belgium is supposed to go on Larry King Live to discuss his client's demise. Sparks the Talking Dog won't be on Larry King because he doesn't speak English and his interpreter won't be available because she's in Venice where she does a monthly talk segment on the 'Dr. Bunny Laura Show'. It's a show about a rabbit that takes call ins from pets who talk and have problems.
