NFL games are always Thurs/Sun/Monday in the fall. Always. But even if they overlooked that when doing the dates, there is plenty of time to switch to a Tues/Wed night for the debates to get maximized viewers. Which should be the goal for both parties in a Presidential debate. So both campaigns should agree to that and move the dates. Simple and easy to do.

NFL will get its 12-18 million viewers for prime time as always.
