The Ukraininan famine was in 1932 to 1933 and was a direct result of collectivisation of private farms ( a 10 years after the Russian famine of 1922 caused by the civil war) and anti kulak movement instigated by Stalin,who albeit Georgian origin was more Russian then any Russian (he even banned a Georgian language in Georgia's schools). To claim (as you do) that somehow he was not a Russian is like being applogetic for German NAZI rule by claiming that Hitler was an Austrian.
