I can perfectly understand legit reasons for people still needing a VCR - transfering old footage to DVD or external storage drives. We bought one not long ago just for that reason. Slow and tedious, of course. But that was the medium back in the day...like it or not.

I was in Nebraska Furniture Mart yesterday and they have 3 different VHS <> DVD player/recorders. There's 10-20 years left of people, children, grandchildren that want to old film, VHS & DVDs to new technology.
Got extra time? Get on CraigsList & FaceBook local groups and and offer the service at a reasonable price. You won't get rich, but hey, extra beer money.
