How did you come to this conclusion that it is getting out of hand and this isn't just an incident? Do you have any stats whatsoever, or are you just repeating, once again, the toxic TV shows i know you are watching?
The reason it's in the media so much, is because the media chooses to cover this to fit their divide and conquer agenda. I bet there were probably the same amount of incidents like this in the 90's or the 2000's, but they didn't cover all of them. Now that they do, everyone is up in arms, thinking its a new thing.
It isn't. You are being spoonfed by media to feel a certain way. You fell for it.
