If you are posting modern photographs, without even knowing the source, you do know you are violating copyright.
Mr. Skin is presumably not promoting this photographer because his work does not appear on their site. I believe they do promote the work of people whose copyrighted material does appear on their site. Are you disagreeing with that?
You, on the other hand, are using that person's work and not promoting him.
Mr. Skin has told you who the owner is, so why would you ask GFY where the images you took are, before you would ask the person with a lawyer where he thinks you are using his property? Do you disagree that your screenshots show Mr. Skin told you whose photos this is about?
What is confusing you here? Mr. Skin can't legally make money off of your illegal activity, which the complainant's attorney has notified them of. So you need to make good with the copyright holder, not complain to strangers on the internet about Mr. Skin.
